Back in the dark, dusty corner of the garage, four musicians got together and set out to build one of the fuzziest rock bands ever to rise from depths of Lake Erie. They took the dirtiest, greasiest hunk of sound they could find and created their very own rock and roll machine. To harness the noise and ground the power, they welded on Chanda’s driving beats. After bolting on the supercharged, pounding of Kevin’s bass, Thomas tuned the fuzz injection with his Fender of choice. They topped it off with the polished chrome of Hadley’s vocals and created 45 Spider, one of the fastest musical rides to race through Cleveland. With the help of Ryan Foltz of Cleveland Audio (Rancid, Tim Armstrong, Travis Barker, Jimmy Cliff, Tiger Army, The Unseen, Lars Fredericksen and the Bastards, Roger Miret and the Disasters), their sound was customized into an album for all to hear. With their newly released, full length album Bloodbath of Fuzz, they quickly found themselves on the 3 largest college radio stations in town, internet radio stations around the world, and on the GaragePunk Hideout compilation #9, Supercharged Sounds. Their adoring fans groove to the unique sound that 45 Spider has created, likening it to “the Shangri-las meet the Troggs." With a love of 60’s garage rock coursing through their veins, they’ve played from the South, all through the Midwest, and up to the Cavestomp in NYC. In the drab world of auto-tune and overproduced boredom, 45 Spider is a breath of fuzz-infused, soulful, hard rocking fresh air for the ears.
